Ultrasonic Cleaning Equipment is a highly effective and recommended process for the cleaning of reusable medical Instruments such as the one’s used in Dental Offices / Clinics / Hospitals. Very much a part of Dental Equipment now, the process of treating Dental Instruments with Ultrasonic Cleaner not only helps remove the blood stains, but also the left tissues as well as contaminants from the instruments. Before the process of disinfecting and sterilization of Dental Instruments, we highly recommend that the Instruments must be treated with Ultrasonic Cleaning.
The Process of Ultrasonic Cleaning enables water bubbles to agitate the contamination and help reach the imploding water bubbles into tiny cracks and crevices thereby cleaning the instruments. Ultrasonic Cleaning is highly effective in the cleaning of picks, drills, mold spoons; prostheses such as dentures and crowns, and to remove cement and plaster as well.
The Dental Instruments possess a greater threat of spreading the contamination if not cleaned and sterilized properly. We at R.K.Trasnonic Engineers have specially designed machines for the cleaning of such small Dental Instruments.
An Medical Ultrasonic Cleaner comprises of a tank (with different sizes), motor/ circuit for cleaning the Surgical Items, a removable basket / tray. To begin the cleaning process, the cleaning tank is filled with warm water or a cleaning solution. Cleaning solutions can consist of non-ionic surfactants & detergents.. You can then place the Surgical Item(s) in a small basket and place that basket inside the tank.
When you switch on the machine, ultrasound waves and chemicals combined to create bubbles that "cling" to the foreign particles such as dirt, oil, and unknown substances. The high frequency waves are sent out and pull the contaminants off of the object. The vibrating motion of the ultrasonic waves creates tiny bubbles in the water known as cavitation; millions of these bubbles rubs against each-other and into the object resting in the cleaning tank. This cavitation process gently knocks dirt & stain off the object. The motion is very effective at penetrating the tiny crevices which is not possible via human hand or by dunking the instrument in water/ chemical alone.
The Ultrasonic Cleaning Cycle time for the Surgical Instruments is approximately 3-5 Minutes depending upon the quantity of objects placed in the basket as well as the level of contamination of the same. Once you set the timer, the machine does its work in few minutes and the dirt now rests in the bottom of the tank. The cavitation effect blasts the particles off the instrument’s surface and leaves them in the solution. You can now remove the basket along with the Instruments and clean them with a dry soft cloth.

When you switch on the machine, ultrasound waves and chemicals combined to create bubbles that "cling" to the foreign particles such as dirt, oil, Flux and unknown substances. The high frequency waves are sent out and pull the contaminants off of the object. The Ultrasonic Cleaning Cycle time for most processes is approximately 3-5 Minutes depending upon the quantity of objects placed in the basket as well as the level of contamination of the same. Once you set the timer, the machine does its work in few minutes and the dirt now rests in the bottom of the tank. The cavitation effect blasts the particles off the PCB’s surface and leaves them in the solution. You can now remove the basket along with the PCB.
STEPS OF CLEANING PCB USING ULTRASONIC CLEANING MACHINE
Choosing the correct Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine |
You will not only have to choose the correct size of the Ultrasonic cleaner, but you will also have to suggest your ultrasonic provider with quantity of PCBs that you will be cleaning in a day. If you wish to clean PCBs in thousands of quantities in a day or large volumes then you would be required to use a more robust & industrial heavy duty ultrasonic cleaner with multiple tanks or chambers. This type of machines will be a custom-built system and would be suitable for your operation. Such machines would often have a drying system along with them.
If however you are limited to cleaning a few pieces of PCBs in a day, much like repair purposes, then we recommend taking a table top Ultrasonic cleaner according to the size of the PCBs that you wish to clean. Table Top Ultrasonic cleaning machines are light duty & easy to carry machines which are convenient to use and are single tank counted top units.
Choosing the correct Cleaning Chemical |
IPA / ISO-PROPYL ACOHOL
Traditionally, IPA or Iso-propyl alcohol is widely and popularly used for cleaning of PCB / Printed Circuit Boards. Ideally using IPA as a cleaner is “OK” with some precautions as under:
1) When you are using IPA with a brush to clean the PCBs.
2) When you are using an Ultrasonic Cleaner with a capacity of “no more than a 2 Liter”; with a precaution to not use Heating Element of the machine. Keeping the environment well ventilated. Strictly keeping no open switches / and fire proof zone with no open flames around. Keeping a Fire Extinguisher near the machine facility for added security.
WATER SOLUABLE CHEMICAL – RKT PCB CLEANER
We offer a safer and non-flammable alternative to IPA. Our specially crafted PCB cleaning solution is ideal for removing flux , dirt, dust, rust and other foreign contaminants form the PCB boards. One litre of RKT PCB CLEANER is to be diluted with three litres of water before use.

There exists a wide application of ultrasonic cleaning in the medical industry. It is extensively used for:
|
Effective sterilization requires effective cleaning, and when it comes to cleaning reusable instruments and equipment, our equipment & detergents meets the most demanding criteria. Our industrial ultrasonic cleaners are used to assist with the cleaning of instruments that cannot be adequately cleaned manually such as spiral wound instruments like biopsy forceps etc. The ultrasonic vibration at the frequency used for cleaning does not kill microorganisms and infective aerosols may be produced.
Ultrasonic cleaners work by subjecting instruments to high frequency, high-energy sound waves. This causes the soil to be dislodged from instruments and drop to the bottom of the tank, or be sufficiently loosened that it will be removed during the rinsing process. The detergent used in the ultrasonic tank must be carefully selected in accordance with advice from the tank's manufacturer. Optimally it will be a neutral, low-foaming product and enzymatic cleaners will have enhanced benefits in this process.
The presence of organic material such as blood faces and respiratory secretions can result in the failure of disinfection. This may be because either the organic material protects the microorganisms from exposure to the biocide or because the biocide may be inactivated by contact with organic material. Consequently, rigorous cleaning of flexible endoscopes is required to remove such material before disinfection or sterilization. This should occur immediately after use to prevent the drying of secretions.
An Ultrasonic Cleaner comprises of a tank (with different sizes), motor/ circuit for cleaning the Surgical Items, a removable basket / tray. To begin the cleaning process, the cleaning tank is filled with warm water or a cleaning solution. Cleaning solutions can consist of non-ionic surfactants & detergents.. You can then place the Surgical Item(s) in a small basket and place that basket inside the tank.

Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner is a precious possession and needs to be taken care of. Often in our day to day life, we expose our jewellery items such as Rings and Chains to harsh chemicals, perfumes and many other components which can cause damage and discoloration of the jewellery items. Being the priced procession it is, we recommend regular care of the same to enhance its longevity.
There are a number of things you can do to take care of the Jewellery Items, but to ease the burden of rubbing/ scrubbing and using soap solutions, we bring to you our Ultrasonic Cleaner specially designed for cleaning of Jewellery Items.
An Ultrasonic Jewellery Cleaner comprises of a small tank (approx 2-3 Liters), small motor/ circuit for Cleaning the Ornaments, a removable basket / tray. To begin the cleaning process, the cleaning tank is filled with warm water or a cleaning solution. Cleaning solutions can consist of non-ionic surfactants, detergents or ammonia. You can then place your Jewellery Item(s) in a small basket and place that basket inside the tank.
When you switch on the machine, ultrasound waves and chemicals combined to create bubbles that "cling" to the foreign particles such as dirt, oil, and unknown substances. The high frequency waves are sent out and pull the contaminants off of the object. The vibrating motion of the ultrasonic waves creates tiny bubbles in the water known as cavitation; millions of these bubbles rubs against each-other and into the Ornaments resting in the cleaning tank. This cavitation process gently knocks dirt off the jewelry. The motion is very effective at penetrating the tiny crevices in jewelry that traditional cleaning cloths and topical cleaners cannot easily reach.
The Ultrasonic Cleaning Cycle time for the Ornaments is approximately 3-5 Minutes depending upon the quantity of Ornaments placed in the basket as well as the level of contamination of the same. Once you set the timer, the machine does its work in few minutes and the dirt now rests in the bottom of the tank. You can now remove the basket along with the Ornaments and clean them with a dry soft cloth.
We recommend Ultrasonic Cleaning for Hard Stones and Metals which are Diamonds, Gold, Silver, and Platinum however we do not suggest the same for Opal, pearls, coral and other soft stones. Ultrasonic Cleaning poses no threat to the Jewellery items as it is similar to brushing the Ornaments with a soft brush. The motion is controlled and localized such that the force generated does not damage the settings and stones.
